We recently visited the Latin dating agency AmoLatina and came away with the conclusion that this isn’t so much a Latin dating service as it is a Latin bride service. The agency obviously caters to men who are looking for a bride from one of the many Latin countries featured on the dating site, and heavy emphasis is placed on the fact that in Latin American countries, women are a, “…sultry and fiery species” (their words, not ours!).

This Latin dating agency focuses on matching men around the world with Latinas who are looking for marriage and are supposedly family oriented, although most of the women on the site state clearly that they will gladly move to America if the man they meet through AmoLatina will marry them.

Features include videos, multiple photo uploads and profiles that are fairly limited. You won’t get much in-depth information about the Latin ladies who are listed at this dating agency. Interestingly, the photos of the women all seem to be professionally shot. You won’t find any blurry, poorly cropped or unflattering photos. We suspect this is because these Latinas are carefully screened, then professionally photographed by representatives of AmoLatina. It’s not illegal, but photo-shopped “glamour shots” don’t really give you a fair representation of how someone looks in real life.

Costs Can Skyrocket With this Latin Dating Agency

Be aware that this Latin dating service doesn’t offer a monthly membership or even an annual membership. You buy credits, with each credit the equivalent of one email. To read an email from a lady, you have to spend a credit. To send one, you have to spend a credit. With credits costing anywhere from $3.99 to $7.99 each, correspondence is costly.

You also can’t call and talk directly to the female members of the service. You have to use the dating agency’s “translation service” and pay a hefty phone bill that’s well above the standard calling rate for the country. You can also send flowers and make travel arrangements to visit your Latin lady love – but you have to go through AmoLatina to do any of these things.

There have been several dating site reviews posted regarding AmoLatina that complain about the high cost of corresponding with any Latin females. More than one disgruntled member said that he was shut down when he attempted to talk to or correspond with a member after months of contact through the agency’s website.

The membership at AmoLatina isn’t all that impressive, considering it is an international dating service. The female membership is in the uppers tens of thousands, not the millions like most U.S. dating services. Of course, the demographic is pretty specific – only attractive Latin women who want to get married need apply. If you’re looking for a quick marriage to a Latin gal and you have virtually unlimited funding, you might consider this route. Otherwise, steer clear of this Latin dating agency. You’ll lose your cash before you lose your heart.
